The Lab AU idea seems super interesting, maybe some more art of how exactly the experiments work for everyone? Or maybe art of Sonic being a big bro to Tails and Amy?

She is vegetarian-- always has been from quite a young age not because of what some might assume, but instead because of cultural beliefs. After all, the soil of her hometown is blessed-- the abundance of plants that grow or can grow, and the quality of them, made the people there not at least being vegetarian unjustified in their view.
However, when it comes to her pokemon? If meat is a vital part of their diet, she will go to the ends of the earth to make sure it is as ethically sourced as possible. Especially now that she has the consistent funds to do so. The same goes for other products derived from pokemon like milk, eggs, cheese, etc. If that is not an option, or her iron levels take a nosedive, then lab-grown meat is the way to go for her.

^ rancid oil just means oxidized; its not like mold or fungus or anything, it's a physical process. Equivalent to stale bread or chips or crackers (actually oil rancidity is a big cause of some kinds of prepackaged snacks going stale): won't hurt you, kinda nasty to some people.
Rancid oil DOES denature so like, if ur using it for skincare or compounding medication or herbal stuff it probably won't do the thing anymore or at least not well. So bear that in mind but like... it's fine. Clearly OP has been eating rancid oil for a minute; my broke ass has eaten So Much rancid oil; like I said it's just the physical material breaking down a bit not a pathogen.
My sort of maybe embarrassing “late to the game” thing I’m learning now is how to tell if oil has gone bad.
I feel like most other foods have obvious visual tells like mold or they end up smelling foul and obviously bad. But I was googling about oil and the internet says “if it smells like crayons, it’s bad” which would not have been my first guess. And I tested it out on my somewhat old sesame oil and was like “by god, I would describe this as smelling like crayons”
Anyway protip if your old oil smells kinda like crayons it’s probably no good 🖍️

Grain Moisture Meter
Tumblr media
Labotronics grain moisture meter provides instant moisture measurement readings. It has in-built calibration and it is capable of measuring 25 kinds of grains under range of 7%~28% with an accuracy of ±0.5%. Two probing pins create direct contact and send an electric current through the grain. Based on the electric resistance, it calculates the moisture content and alerts the user. It automatically turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

Lion city
Singapore was a huge revelation for me and my heart was instantly stolen by it, not only by the advances in their quality of life and technology but also by the discipline that put them there. photos taken in April 2023 | processed and scanned by The Grain House Film Lab, Cebu in April 2024

What Tim Hears
Tumblr media
Briefly brought it up but wanted to expand on thoughts of how Tim hears, and kind feels/perceives the way others walk, and how he can tell them apart.
Note: this isn't to say this is exactly how they walk only how he perceives it based on sound and the vibrations through the ground/what he can feel of it
Kumo:
When actually on the ground/walking, to him it comes across as very light. Barely any sound is made regardless of what kind of floor/ground they're walking in. Perhaps even has an almost bounce like quality- less like a full step more like he's just lightly pushing off the ground
(At least that's how it comes across to them)
Quite at first and for awhile he found it very unnerving not being able to hear/feel them coming. Friend or Foe alike it's just more comfortable when they can know where others are out of his line of sight.
Kaze:
Heavy AF. His steps have WEIGHT. Even if/when being stealthy although sound may be come muffled or limited he is very much felt.
In fact he surprisingly not as loud as he'd expect but as stated before it's the weight of the steps that give it away.
Kain:
He's pretty easy and unique, the obvious is if he's using his cane/any walking aid which creates an added sound and beat to his steps.
Without it, there's an unevenness to his steps and slightly slower then some others but also a bit soft and careful. Oddly he kind of likes the rhythm to his steps - in part cause it means he can always tell when his friend is nearby <3
Main verse: The boots he wears does add weight to the step and makes him a bit louder then if he were in regular shoes, yet still on the softer side compared to many
Cid:
Loud very loud and often hurried/fast paced. Subtle this man is not. Very much someone he's going to hear long before he sees- although that may be from their voice more then their feet (lol)
Chicken:
Always quick and light, with a clicking / scratching sound from their claws/talons/nails (whatever you want to call them)

True. I am not in the same gang that kidnapped me and used me as bait in front of world leaders<3
And honestly, I was 15 with half my life spent in a lab so...
i dont like Kuwei or him being called a crow. heres why
He lied. The Crows would never lie just to avoid talking to the other or to avoid basic or necessary conversations
The kiss. I wouldnt have had a problem with this if he hadnt reacted the way he did. He saw that jesper had not noticed, he saw jesper freaking out, and made it very clear he still saw it as a win, batting his lashes, acting as if nothing happend. I felt he blurred the line of consent too far to come back from
Again, the reaction. Even after everything is cleared up between wylan and jesper he still hits on jesper, trying to get him to come to ravka with him
Lack of help. I don’t remember any time he activally tried to help the crows in
note: i love how he was written, i just didnt like him as a character
